The Quiet Book

Madeleine is now 20 months old and one of the books that has certainly stood the test of time is The Quiet book.

Each page is themed and beautifully crafted, with different actions and stories. Madeleine’s favourite page has 6 clown faces made from felt. Each face has a different expression - sad, happy, silly… and they each belong in a different pocket. I ask her to find a certain face and then she posts it into the correct pocket (most of the time!). Another page has two little fish that swim in a plastic fish bowl.

I still feel that this book will entertain Madeleine for a while longer, as she learns more about the weather, season and the time.
